On taxi rides exceeding approximately 100 kilometers, we may charge a rush hour fee of € 35. This fee applies to both the outbound and return journeys and is implemented to account for potential delays during peak traffic times.
For example, if you land at Schiphol Airport at 8:30 AM on a Monday morning, your driver will encounter morning rush hour traffic. This can significantly increase the travel time to Schiphol Airport, potentially doubling it. Similarly, if we drive you to Düsseldorf Airport at 5:45 AM on a Monday, the return journey may be impacted by morning rush hour traffic.
We’ll always inform you during the booking process whether rush hour fee will apply. Please note that if traffic conditions are favorable, even during peak hours, the fee may not be charged.
